Who We Are
Passionate. Patient. Persistent.
Dogs Allowed was founded in 2020 on the belief that
not all pets are born equal. They each have their own unique traits and mannerisms, and therefore require their own unique and specialized training. That’s where we come in!
Whether it’s for basic manners or more complex behavioral issues, our trainers are focused on not only training your pet, but teaching you how to effectively communicate with them. This method of training is full of fun techniques that will give you and your pet a happier life together.

I grew up always having numerous dogs, Poodles, Collies, Chows and mixed breeds. I purchased my first Bouvier in 1990 from Oomingmak Kennels & still have Bouvier's to this day. I have recently added an American Staffordshire Terrier which keeps things interesting. I 've titled all of my dogs myself in multiple venues and organizations (CKC, AKC & UKC). I have put titles on my dogs from Conformation Championship, Obedience Trail Championship, Rally, Tracking, Draft, Barn Hunt, Chase Ability, Sprinters, Temperament Testing, Canine Good Neighbor, Agility and Herding. I have achieved a High in Trial at the Bouvier National Specialty and I have had the #1 Bouvier in Canada in Obedience & Conformation. I also have the only Bouvier to achieve a DDX & MDDX titles in draft, which makes him the most versatile Bouvier in CKC history. I am a CKC Draft dog judge and I am also working towards CKC Obedience judge.

I always had dogs in my life. There is not one picture of me as a child without a dog. We had a Lab when I was kid that was the best dog, and as an adult, I wanted that again. I have had a Golden Retriever cross, a Dalmatian, 2 Italian Greyhounds and numerous Labs. I got into competitive obedience in 2006, and I haven't looked back. I achieved numerous titles including a Utility Dog (AKC). I have participated in Obedience, Conformation, Rally, Trick Dog, Canine Good Neighbor, Dock Diving, and Hunt Tests. I have 2 Labs that I am working with currently in Conformation and Obedience. I enjoy taking classes, helping people getting started in Obedience and working with dogs and handlers in Conformation.

I have been participating in Scent Hurdle Racing for over 14 years and I have earned the Scent Hurdle Dog Grand Master Championship (SHDGMCh) with 2 of my American Cocker Spaniels. I currently compete with the Red Raiders Team, with my two younger American Cocker Spaniels, and I am working on earning points towards these titles with them as well. I love the sport!
I am also involved in Agility and have been competing in Agility for over 20 years, and I am certified to judge for CKC, AAC and UKI.
Dog training is my passion and I have also earned Trick Dog titles, and Flyball titles with my dogs. I take a positive approach to training and building the foundation through positive reinforcement.
